About Us

We are a tuition-free, public charter school. There are no admission requirements, academic or otherwise, to apply for a place in the school.

We operate under the same rules, regulations, and guidelines as other Texas schools, and our schools are tuition-free. Charter schools are widely regarded as one of the greatest values in education being offered today. We provide an opportunity to receive a rich classical education at virtually no cost.

All students with qualifying residency (Texas) and disciplinary history (“Eligible Applicants”) will be given equal consideration regardless of the day or time they were submitted during the Open Enrollment period.

Applicants who have a sibling currently enrolled in another ResponsiveEd school should complete an Application for Admission online; make sure to check “Yes,” then list the name and campus of the enrolled sibling. Failure to do so will prevent the student applying from receiving priority status.

Open Enrollment

At the end of an open enrollment period, if there are more applications than seats for any grade level, a lottery will be conducted to fill those seats. All additional applicants will be placed on a lottery-generated waiting list. If there are fewer applications than spaces, all applicants can be admitted and applications will continue to be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Consideration will be given to siblings.

Applications received after the Open-Enrollment Period ends will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis and seated accordingly. However, if the specific school or grade level is full, we will add your child’s name at the end of the waiting list in the order it is received.

Waiting lists will not carry over from year to year. Any students not admitted will have to reapply the following year.

Admitted students will have the opportunity to re-enroll for the next school year. Their siblings will be given priority for any available spaces.
